List your car
All but three of our cars belong to private owners. We act as their agent, handling all insurance, contractual and marketing issues. Owners simply keep their car registered and roadworthy, explain the car to the client and receive it back at the end of the hire.
Rocky, Bertie and Penelope are the three cars that I started the business with back in 2008. Between them, over 1,000 drivers have done in excess of 250,000 kms on hire over that time, with little more than regular maintenance and no driver causing damage to the cars. All three are still in excellent condition and receive rave reviews from drivers. Some or our owners have been with us for over 5 years, having their cars driven and appreciated as well as helping to pay for their running costs.
Most requests are for retirement gifts, mother’s and father’s day gifts, birthdays, anniversaries, etc. The average age of drivers is 45. The oldest drivers has been over 80. Younger drivers generally hire the cars for proposals or weddings.
