Morris Minor 1000 Convertibles are simply one of the cutest cars you can be seen in. So cute, that over 70,000 were sold in the fifties and sixties and so cute that Linda simply could not resist “Rosie” when she saw her. It reminded her of travelling to school with her 3 sisters and 1 brother in a 2 door morrie – yep that’s 6 including mum!
If you want a fun day out and a vintage car experience then “Rosie” is the car for you. Roof up or roof down, she will delight you. Everybody that drives “Rosie” fall in love with her. No matter where “Rosie” goes people can’t help but come and have a look and share an experience they have had with a ‘Morrie’.
The Morris Minor 1000 was the most popular British family car until the Ford Escort arrived in the mid-sixties. BMC built over 1.2 Million of them and they ferried families around the countryside for 2 decades. They were particularly famous as cars for health visitors and midwives with Nurse Gladys having one in Ronnie Barker’s Open all Hours sitcom.
“Rosie” is in immaculate condition having won many awards at concourse competitions and she can be your to take away for the day, the weekend or longer. What a fabulous way of touring the antique shops of the Illawarra coast or the Southern Highlands. Or a great way of making an entrance at your wedding or formal.
